Project 1

As part of my diploma at The Interior Design Institute, I redesigned the ground floor of a charming 1950s home. The goal was to create a fresh, family-friendly space with an open-plan layout that kept the kitchen connected to the living areas. I worked around key features like the front door and staircase while exploring possibilities like adding a full bathroom, expanding the living room, and creating extra storage. It was a fun and challenging introduction to real-world space planning.

Project 2

During my diploma, I also had the chance to design a living room for my brother and his girlfriend, who had just moved into their new apartment. Acting as my real clients, they gave me valuable hands-on experience — from understanding client needs to selecting finishes and furniture — while letting me put my creative skills into action in a personal, meaningful way.

Project 3

For my interior design software course, I reimagined the interior of a Victorian cottage using AutoCAD. The project included designing two bedrooms, a renovated bathroom, an office/study, a laundry room, an entryway, and even a glass walkway for a future extension. I created detailed plans for architectural elements, custom joinery, and selected fixtures, fittings, and finishes throughout.

Project 4

Building on Project 3, this project focused on designing a two-level extension for the same cottage. I developed the architectural interiors in SketchUp and created realistic rendered views in Twinmotion. The new design included spaces like a kitchen, living and dining areas, a master bedroom with a wardrobe and ensuite, plus a landscaped outdoor terrace with stairs, a BBQ, and a cozy fire pit area.

Project 5

For the final project of my software training, I designed a multi-level art gallery using Revit. I developed a full proposal with detailed drawings for key spaces, including a reception area, gift shop, amenities for staff and visitors, gallery areas, artwork storage, and a flexible event space.

Project 6

As part of an advanced landscaping design module in my Interior Design diploma, I created a cottage-style garden for a tiny home located in a converted garage space. The project included mood boards, a floor plan, and a planting scheme—giving me hands-on experience designing thoughtful, functional outdoor spaces that enhance small-home living.

Project 7

During my Feng Shui certification training, I explored how to apply its principles to home design by using the Bagua Energy Map to align each room with key life areas like health, wealth, and relationships. I also incorporated my personal Gua number to optimize energy flow by positioning essential elements—such as the bed, stove, and desk—in supportive directions. To bring the concept to life, I included a digital render created with ChatGPT, capturing the intended style and atmosphere of the space.
